Soaking

My daughter cried this morning, when we checked the weather forecast. She literally broke out in tears.

It has been raining, non-stop, for five days now. Five days! And the temperature has gone from the mid-sixties down to the low fifties, even the forties. And the icing on the cake: It's supposed to continue raining all next week!

Jeez.

As they would say about a cold spring where I come from: Winter came early that year.
