A whole week has passed by. In a flash. This place has shown us its brightest and most beautiful face.

Sun, no wind, smiles, good food, strong drinks.

It wasn't until on the way to the airport, that the chilly wind started blowing and the rain pouring. As if just to show us how the week could have been like.

Just came back from our glacier trip. We hiked to the top last night and came back down around 3 am. The weather was unbelievable. It was actually dead still on the summit. Completely clear skies and unobstructed view in all directions.

This place is amazing. And had quite an impact on my fellow travellers.

Last night was a blast. I had 15 people over for dinner to celebrate my old age, and they suprised me with a real-life dixieland on my lawn. The dinner promptly changed into a dance party.

And tonight: The glacier!
